BREAKING: Nuclear Bomb GIFs Not Allowed on GIPHY
Effective Immediately
GIPHY has announced that they will no longer allow nuclear bomb GIFs on their platform.
The decision comes after a number of high-profile incidents in which nuclear bomb GIFs were used to spread propaganda and hate speech.
"We believe that nuclear weapons are a serious threat to our world, and we do not want to contribute to their proliferation," said GIPHY CEO Alex Chung.
The move by GIPHY is the latest in a series of efforts by tech companies to crack down on the spread of harmful content online.
