Grieving father Diddy still behind bars as daughters are 'cared for' by family friend

The daughters of the currently incarcerated music mogul Diddy are reportedly being cared for by a close friend of their late mother, Kim Porter. Porter and Diddy had three children together, including 15-year-old twin girls Jessie and D'Lila, and 16-year-old Chance.

Diddy remains in custody following arrest for battery

Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, was arrested on Monday, June 12, following an alleged altercation with UCLA strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi at the UCLA campus in Los Angeles. Diddy is accused of punching Alosi in the face during an argument over his son Justin Combs's football scholarship.

Diddy has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is currently being held on $50,000 bail. A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for June 20.

Porter died in November 2018

Porter was found dead at her home in Los Angeles on November 15, 2018. The cause of her death was determined to be lobar pneumonia. She was 47 years old.

Porter and Diddy were in a relationship for 13 years, from 1994 to 2007. They had three children together, including 15-year-old twin girls Jessie and D'Lila, and 16-year-old Chance.

Friend of the family caring for daughters

A source close to the family told People magazine that Diddy's daughters are being cared for by a close friend of their late mother, Kim Porter. The source said that the friend has been "a rock" for the girls since their mother's death.

The source added that Diddy is "devastated" by his daughters' loss and is "doing everything he can to support them from behind bars."
